Isle of Harris Distillery and the people of Melbourne came together at The Toff In Town to celebrate a momentous occasion, the launch of the first ever single malt whisky from Isle of Harris, The Hearach.

And what a celebration it was. For the evening our guests were transported to the Outer Hebrides for an unforgettable experience. The Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Group provided the soundscape with traditional reels and a few fast paced jigs whilst scenes from the island were projected onto the walls for a truly immersive experience.

We were joined on stage by Peter Kwasniewski from the distillery to talk about the Island, its people and of course, the spirit. As Peter led guests through the unveiling of The Hearach and first tasting ceremony it was heartwarming to see such positive responses for something we have waited so long for.

To all those who attended and to all those who were there in spirit, we'd like to share a few memories with you.
